What it is

DeWalt DFM3510300 frame screws have a diameter of 7.5 mm and a length of 92 mm, designed for the direct fixing of frames and window and door units into masonry. The greater length compared with the shorter sizes allows them to pass through deeper frames or levelling layers and anchor firmly in the substrate behind.

A frame screw is a long screw with a special thread that fixes door and window frames directly to the wall, without a plug.

What it is for

Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls and for general-purpose fixing into masonry, concrete and timber.

How to use it

Set the frame level with wedges and drill through frame and wall with the specified bit. Drive the screw until the frame is secured without distorting it, then recheck the alignment. Cover the head with the cover caps provided and fill the gaps with the specified material.
