HCS Progresso blade for cutting wood, DeWalt DT2402-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT2402-QZ is an HCS blade from the Progresso line, made of high-carbon steel, dedicated to cutting wood, with a length of 203 mm. HCS material offers the flexibility and edge retention ideal for a clean, efficient cut in wood.

A reciprocating saw blade is a straight blade with a universal shank that fits a reciprocating saw for cutting wood, nail-embedded wood, metal, plastic and insulation.

What it is for

Used for cutting solid wood, panels and battens, on the bench or on site.

How to use it

Choose the blade by material and tooth pattern: coarse teeth for wood and demolition, fine teeth for metals, bi-metal for wood with nails. Insert it into the blade clamp with the saw unplugged until it locks, and rest the shoe on the workpiece before starting the cut. Work without forcing and replace the blade when the teeth are worn.
