What it is

The DeWalt DT60818-QZ is an SDS Max XLR drill bit of 20 mm diameter with a working length of 800 mm and a total length of 920 mm, designed for very deep drilling. The tungsten carbide head and the 4 cutting edges make it possible to work concrete and masonry even at depth, while the SDS Max shank ensures it can be used on professional rotary hammers. The weight of 1.35 kg reflects the elongated structure of this bit.

How to use it

Clean and lightly grease the shank, insert it into the chuck until it locks and select hammer drilling. Drill with the hammer held in line with the hole, letting the machine's weight do the work without pushing, and withdraw the bit frequently to clear the dust. If you hit a reinforcing bar, stop and move the hole; do not cool a hot bit in water.
