Masonry drill bit DeWalt DT6714-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT6714-QZ masonry drill bit is designed for hammer drilling of concrete with a diameter of 14 mm. The working length of 230 mm makes it possible to reach depths suited to numerous fixings, while the total length of 41 cm and the weight of 0.288 kg ensure stability during work. The round connection shank makes it compatible with conventional hammer drills.

A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
