What it is

The DeWalt DT8924-QZ is a full-head drill bit from the XLR series with an SDS-Plus shank, developed for drilling concrete with professional rotary hammers. With a diameter of 8 mm and a working length of 150 mm, it offers a versatile depth for numerous fixings. The carbide head with 4 cutting edges ensures fast, even penetration, while the reduced-vibration design improves operator comfort.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
