What it is
The DeWalt DT8941-QZ drill bit from the XLR Full Head range with an SDS-Plus shank is designed for particularly deep holes in concrete with professional rotary hammers. With a diameter of 14 mm and a working length of 250 mm, it can reach great depths while maintaining precision. The carbide head with 4 cutters ensures fast, efficient penetration, while the zinc-plated and chrome-plated finish and the reduced-vibration technology contribute to durability and comfort.
A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.
What it is for
Used for drilling reinforced concrete, in hammer or rotary hammer mode and for drilling solid and hollow masonry, clay brick and blocks.
How to use it
Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
