What it is
The DeWalt DT90387-QZ Bi-Metal blade for universal saws is supplied in a convenient pack of 5 pieces, with a length of 228 mm and a tooth pitch of 14 teeth per inch (14 TPI). The Bi-Metal construction combines strength and flexibility, reducing the risk of breakage under stress and ensuring a longer life than single-material blades. The 14 TPI tooth pitch is geared towards firm, regular cutting.
A reciprocating saw blade is a straight blade with a universal shank that fits a reciprocating saw for cutting wood, nail-embedded wood, metal, plastic and insulation.
What it is for
Used for cutting metal sections, sheet and tube and for cutting metal and plastic pipes.
How to use it
Choose the blade by material and tooth pattern: coarse teeth for wood and demolition, fine teeth for metals, bi-metal for wood with nails. Insert it into the blade clamp with the saw unplugged until it locks, and rest the shoe on the workpiece before starting the cut. Work without forcing and replace the blade when the teeth are worn.
