4-flute SDS-plus bit DeWalt DT9681-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT9681-QZ SDS-Plus drill bit has a 16 mm diameter, an overall length of 450 mm and a full 400 mm of working length, with a carbide-insert head and 4-cutter configuration. This geometry ensures fast, stable hammer drilling in concrete, with good resistance when it meets reinforcing bars; the SDS PLUS shank ensures a secure fit in hammers and rotary hammers.

A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
