Heating band for plastic drums with 0-90 °C thermostat and fastening straps Carvel

What it is

Fabric band to wrap around plastic drums to protect the liquid inside from low temperatures. The heater is double-insulated, with a Teflon and polyester layer, and has a capillary thermostat adjustable from 0 to 90 °C. It is fixed with tension straps and chosen according to the drum, from 25 to 200 litres, with power ratings from 200 to 450 W.

How to use it

Choose the tank according to the liquid and check that its material and approval allow it, especially for fuels and hazardous substances. Bed underground tanks on a level base and backfill according to the manufacturer's instructions; place drums on stands or in containers with a spill sump. Label the contents and periodically check seals and fittings.

Safe use

Use the band only on plastic drums of the stated capacity, fitting snugly and secured with the straps, and set the thermostat to a temperature suited to the liquid. Disconnect the power supply before fitting or removing it.
