Hook-and-loop discs Fervi ZSA150/180

What it is

Fervi ZSA150/180 hook-and-loop discs are flexible abrasives with quick attachment to the backing pad, designed for sanding and finishing metal surfaces, wood and composite materials. Made of stearated aluminium oxide with grit 180, they offer controlled, even abrasion suited to medium finishing work, where earlier tool marks need removing without attacking the substrate. The stearate coating reduces clogging of the disc, keeping performance consistent even on soft or painted materials.

Orbital and random orbital sander abrasives are paper or cloth discs and sheets, with hook-and-loop or clamp fixing, and the backing pads they fit onto.

What it is for

Used for sanding surfaces before painting, for sanding surfaces, as preparation or as a finish and for sanding wood before varnishing or finishing.

How to use it

Choose a disc or sheet with the same shape and hole pattern as the pad and centre it so that the extraction holes line up. Start with a coarse grit and move to finer grits up to the finish. Sand with the machine flat, light pressure and continuous movement, and change the abrasive when it is clogged.
