Grindflex Classic flap disc Fervi DN4100.124

What it is

The flap disc Grindflex Classic Fervi DN4100.124 is a Ø 125 mm flap disc with zirconia flaps, designed for smoothing and deburring metals with an angle grinder. The 125 mm size ensures a good surface output on each pass, while the zirconia abrasive offers high toughness and durability, maintaining its cutting effectiveness even in the most demanding work. It is certified Italian-made and complies with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, with CE marking.

A flap disc is an abrasive made of overlapping cloth flaps, on a disc for angle grinders or on a shank for straight grinders, that roughs down and finishes metal and wood.

What it is for

Used for sanding metal, from roughing to finishing, for deburring metal after cutting and drilling and for grinding and cleaning up weld seams and burrs.

How to use it

Fit the disc on the angle grinder, or insert the shank-mounted flap wheel in the collet of the straight grinder or drill, observing the maximum speed. Work with light pressure at a slight angle, keeping the tool moving so as not to overheat or mark the workpiece. Progress from coarse to fine grits for finishing, and replace the disc when the cloth is worn down to the backing.
