What it is
The Fervi UNP125/6/3SF compressed non-woven disc is a compressed synthetic fibre abrasive, designed for satin finishing and fine finishing operations on metals. Its high-density structure offers a soft, uniform action, which allows surfaces to be treated gently while maintaining a consistent cosmetic result.
The non-woven disc is an abrasive made of compressed synthetic fibres impregnated with abrasive, which satin-finishes, cleans and finishes metal without removing much material.
What it is for
Used for finishing surfaces, for preparing surfaces before treatment and for cleaning oxides, grease and machining residues from metal.
How to use it
Fit it on the grinder or satin-finishing machine, checking the diameter, bore and maximum speed. Work with light pressure, moving it steadily in the direction of the grain to obtain an even finish. It is not for roughing. Replace it when it loses its bite; wear safety glasses and gloves.
