Lever dial test indicator, 0.01 mm, long stylus, Fervi T006

What it is

The Fervi T006 plunger dial indicator (0.01 mm) is a measuring instrument designed for dimensional checks that require an extended probe arm. The 40 mm diameter dial ensures a clear reading, with a measuring range of 0.8 mm, a resolution of 0.01 mm and an accuracy of 0.011 mm. The Ø 2 mm contact tip, 29 mm long, makes it possible to reach recessed surfaces, grooves and hard-to-reach points; the weight of 0.13 kg makes it easy to mount on dial gauge holders and articulated stands.

The dial indicator is a dial or digital instrument with a pointed probe, which measures small displacements and deviations from a reference: flatness, concentricity, run-out.

Used in quality control of parts and workmanship and for measuring on site and in the workshop.

How to use it

Fix it on a stand or a rigid support, with the probe resting on the workpiece and a slight preload. Zero it at the reference point and move the workpiece or the instrument, reading the deviations. Avoid knocks and lateral stress on the probe.
