What it is

The Fervi ADLT1503ZZR20A milling insert is an indexable insert intended for insert milling cutters used for machine tool operations. It has a diameter of 15 mm and an angle of 90°, a geometry suited to shoulder milling and to milling operations that require a ninety-degree profile. The replaceable insert makes it possible to restore the cutting edge quickly without having to replace the whole tool.

Inserts are interchangeable tips that act as the cutting edge on milling cutters, lathe tools and insert holders.

What it is for

Used for milling faces, shoulders and slots on machine tools and in workshop machining of steel, aluminium and alloy parts.

How to use it

Choose the shape and size suited to the insert holder and the operation. Clean the seat, fit the insert and clamp it with the screw or clamp without over-tightening. When a cutting edge is worn, index the insert to use a fresh corner; at the end of its life, replace it.
