Taper-shank milling cutter chuck Fervi 2/2A50

What it is

The Fervi 2/2A50 taper shank milling cutter holder is a tool holder for clamping Morse taper (MT) shank milling cutters on milling machines and machining centres. Made in Italy with certified production, it has an ISO 50 taper conforming to DIN 69871/A and withstands rotation speeds of up to 12,000 rpm, ensuring concentricity and stability during cutting.

These are chucks with a tapered shank, often Morse taper, that hold milling cutters or drill bits and fit into the taper of the machine tool.

What it is for

Used for milling faces, shoulders and slots on machine tools and in workshop machining of steel, aluminium and alloy parts.

How to use it

Clean the taper and the socket thoroughly of oil and swarf, then insert the shank with a slight twist and a firm push so that the taper seats. Tighten the tool with the specified key or drawbar. To remove it, use the proper tool, without striking the chuck.
