Micro flap wheels Fervi RMT1010/120

What it is

Fervi RMT1010/120 mounted flap micro wheels are shank-mounted abrasives designed for fine finishing and preliminary polishing in hard-to-reach areas. With dimensions of 10x10 mm, a Ø 3 mm shank and grit 120, they offer a gentle abrasive action, ideal for refining surfaces that have already been roughed and preparing the workpiece for the final stages. The product complies with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC with CE marking and is certified Italian-made.

A flap disc is an abrasive made of overlapping cloth flaps, on a disc for angle grinders or on a shank for straight grinders, that roughs down and finishes metal and wood.

What it is for

Used for sanding metal, from roughing to finishing, for deburring metal after cutting and drilling and for grinding and cleaning up weld seams and burrs.

How to use it

Fit the disc on the angle grinder, or insert the shank-mounted flap wheel in the collet of the straight grinder or drill, observing the maximum speed. Work with light pressure at a slight angle, keeping the tool moving so as not to overheat or mark the workpiece. Progress from coarse to fine grits for finishing, and replace the disc when the cloth is worn down to the backing.
