What it is
The Fervi A004/14CBN is a CBN (cubic boron nitride) grinding wheel for the Fervi A004/14 milling cutter sharpener, the 230 V machine with ER collets that resharpens 2-, 3- and 4-flute cutters from 4 to 14 mm. This wheel is for HSS steel cutters; for carbide ones Fervi instead provides the SDC A004/14SDC wheel. Packaging 78 x 78 x 11 mm, gross weight 0.30 kg.
Grinding wheels and points are vitrified-bonded, cloth or tungsten carbide tools, shank-mounted or bored, for grinding, deburring, sharpening and finishing metals and other materials.
What it is for
Used for tool maintenance, keeping tools sharp and efficient and for grinding parts and sharpening tools.
How to use it
Check that the wheel's maximum speed is equal to or higher than that of the machine and that the wheel is not cracked. Insert the shank fully into the collet, or mount the wheel with its flanges, and let it run unloaded for a few seconds before starting work. Work with light, steady pressure, wearing safety glasses or a face shield and gloves.
