What it is

The Fervi P065/12.00 cobalt twist drill bit, with a Ø 12.00 mm diameter, is a robust cutting tool designed for professional drilling of metals. The 135° point angle and the hardness of 800 to 900 HV ensure a decisive cut and remarkable wear resistance, maintaining consistent performance even in repeated operations on hard steels and stainless steels.

What it is for

Used for drilling steel, stainless steel and aluminium, on a pillar drill or with a hand-held drill and in workshop machining of steel, aluminium and alloy parts.

How to use it

Clamp the workpiece in a vice, mark the centre and set the speed for the diameter and material: low for hard steels and large diameters, higher for aluminium and plastic. Lubricate with cutting oil on steel; on plastic, reduce the pressure as the bit breaks through to avoid chipping. Insert taper-shank drills into the pillar drill's spindle taper and remove them with a drift.
