Flap wheels with threaded bore Fervi RLF115/060

What it is

The Fervi RLF115/060 flap wheel with threaded hole is an abrasive of Ø 115 mm diameter with grit 60, an intermediate value that combines good stock removal capacity with a more even finish than coarser grits. It is suited to smoothing and deburring metal, offering a balanced compromise between working speed and surface quality. The product is certified Italian-made and complies with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, with CE marking.

A flap disc is an abrasive made of overlapping cloth flaps, on a disc for angle grinders or on a shank for straight grinders, that roughs down and finishes metal and wood.

What it is for

Used for sanding metal, from roughing to finishing, for deburring metal after cutting and drilling and for grinding and cleaning up weld seams and burrs.

How to use it

Fit the disc on the angle grinder, or insert the shank-mounted flap wheel in the collet of the straight grinder or drill, observing the maximum speed. Work with light pressure at a slight angle, keeping the tool moving so as not to overheat or mark the workpiece. Progress from coarse to fine grits for finishing, and replace the disc when the cloth is worn down to the backing.
