What it is
The Fervi F011/48 annular cutter offers a diameter of Ø 48 mm and a Weldon shank for quick mounting on drills and magnetic drills. Thanks to ring cutting, the tool cuts only the perimeter of the hole and leaves a central slug, making it possible to produce holes of considerable diameter with limited vibration, shorter times and a reduced load on the machine. The product complies with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and carries the CE mark.
Hole saws and annular cutters are cylindrical cutting tools, toothed or carbide-tipped, for large holes with a drill or, with a Weldon shank, a magnetic drill.
What it is for
Used in steel fabrication, from cutting to assembly, for drilling steel, stainless steel and aluminium, on a pillar drill or with a hand-held drill and in metalworking.
How to use it
Fit the tool to the arbor or directly in the Weldon chuck, with a pilot drill or ejector pin. Secure the workpiece or the drill base firmly, set a speed suited to the diameter and material, and drill with a steady feed, lubricating on metal. When the hole is complete, eject the slug and check the sharpness of the cutting edges.
