Precision parallels, assortment of 18 pieces, Fervi P017

What it is

Parallel tool for lathe and milling machine Fervi P017 is an assortment of precision parallel spacers used to position and support workpieces at height during machining on machine tools. The parallels measure 150 mm in length and 8 mm in thickness, with stepped heights from 14 to 44 mm (14-16-20-24-30-32-36-40-44), a hardness of HRC 45 and an accuracy of ± 0.005 mm. The set has a gross weight of 5.45 kg and is supplied in packaging measuring 280x220x65 mm.

What it is for

Used for clamping workpieces, for milling faces, shoulders and slots on machine tools and in workshop machining of steel, aluminium and alloy parts.

How to use it

Secure the vice to the bench or machine table with suitable bolts. Clamp the workpiece in the centre of the jaws, using soft jaws on delicate surfaces, and never extend the handle with a pipe. Position clamps and cramps so that the pressure bears on the workpiece and not on its edge. Clean and lubricate the screw regularly.
