What it is
The Fervi SCF150 conical crimped wire brush is an abrasive accessory with 0.3 mm wire and M14 threaded fitting, designed for mounting on angle grinders. Made in compliance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and bearing the CE mark, it combines a precise action with compliance with safety standards.
A crimped wire brush is a rotary accessory in steel, brass-coated or stainless steel wire for grinders and drills, suited to light cleaning and finishing on metal.
What it is for
Used for preparing surfaces before treatment, for cleaning oxides, grease and machining residues from metal and for removing rust and oxides.
How to use it
Fit the brush to the machine with a compatible attachment, checking that its maximum speed is higher than that of the tool. Run it unloaded for a few seconds away from other people and work with light pressure, using the wire tips. Use stainless steel wire brushes on stainless steel, and always wear safety glasses or a face shield and gloves.
