What it is
The Fervi A014/26-40 tapered hole reamer is a cutting tool designed to open and finish large-diameter holes in sheet metal and thin materials. The tapered profile works across a range of diameters from 26 to 40 mm, suited to the largest openings, while maintaining smooth progression and a clean edge. It is made in Italy and complies with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC with CE marking, a mark of quality and safety.
The step drill bit, or conical drill, is a cone-shaped cutter with steps that drills thin sheet metal and enlarges existing holes to the required diameter.
What it is for
Used for drilling steel, stainless steel and aluminium, on a pillar drill or with a hand-held drill, in metalworking and for deburring metal after cutting and drilling.
How to use it
Fit it in the drill and work at low speed on well-clamped sheet, advancing until the step reaches the desired diameter. Lubricate on metal and keep light pressure so that the hole does not go out of true. Remove the burrs after drilling. Not suitable for thick materials.
