Accessories for Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) and Concrete Fischer

What it is

The accessories for autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) and Fischer concrete are a component for structural fixing on cellular concrete substrates, suitable for use with M8 to M12 threaded rods and with the FIS E chemical anchor. Installation requires a hole with a diameter d0 of 14 mm and a depth h0 of 80 - 100 mm, with M8 thread and an anchoring depth of 14 mm. The product is covered by European Technical Assessment ETA 20/0729 and is supplied in a polybag pack of 1 piece.

Chemical anchor is a two-component resin in a cartridge that, injected into the drilled hole, bonds threaded rods and internally threaded sockets to the substrate; the category includes mesh sleeves and injection accessories.

What it is for

Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls, for chemical anchoring, where the load or edge distance rules out a mechanical anchor and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.

How to use it

Drill the substrate to the specified diameter and depth, clean the hole with a brush and blow-out pump, repeating several times, and insert a mesh sleeve in hollow brick. Discard the first resin until the colour is uniform, inject from the bottom of the hole and insert the rod with a twisting motion. Apply load only after the curing time stated for the substrate temperature.
