Threaded Rods

59 products · Structural Bolts and Screws

A threaded rod is a steel rod threaded along its entire length, used to connect, support and anchor: with nuts and washers it becomes a tie rod, and set into a hole with resin or mortar it becomes an anchor. This collection gathers threaded rods from various brands and the accessories needed to use them.

What you will find in this collection

  • Galvanised threaded rods by the metre, in grades 4.6, 4.8 and 8.8
  • Rods with nut and washer, ready to use
  • Threaded rod kits for site fixings
  • Straight-cut rods for chemical anchoring
  • Couplings, sockets and adapters for threaded rods

The brands included are Fischer, DeWalt, Bossong, Unifix, CSC Edilizia and Vigor, as well as AMES-branded items.

How to choose the right rod

Start with the diameter (for example M10, M12, M16, M20) and the length, which must cover the thickness to be fixed plus the part embedded in the substrate. The strength grade (4.6, 4.8, 8.8) indicates the load the steel can bear: the higher the number, the stronger the rod. For structural loads or chemical anchoring, always check the manufacturer's instructions.
