What it is
Threaded rod Fischer is an anchoring element intended for chemical and structural fixings. The blister pack contains a complete kit consisting of 4 threaded rods M8 x 120, 4 M8 nuts and 4 washers ø 8, all ready for installation. Thanks to the M8 thread, the rod can be used with chemical anchoring systems to make strong fixings in concrete and masonry.
Threaded rod is steel rod threaded along its entire length which, with nuts, washers and connectors, is used to make tie rods, hangers and chemical anchor fixings.
What it is for
Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls, for chemical anchoring, where the load or edge distance rules out a mechanical anchor and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.
How to use it
Cut to length with a hacksaw or angle grinder and clean up the thread with a file or by running a nut over it. Screw it into couplers and connectors or set it in the hole with chemical anchor, then tighten with a nut and washer. Choose the property class and finish, zinc-plated or stainless, according to the load and environment.
