Star bit TX40, Fischer

What it is

The Fischer TX40 star bit is an accessory dedicated to driving screws with a TX40 recess in fastening systems. The pack contains 50 TX40 star bits plus 1 TX40 TX driver bit, for a quantity of 50 pieces, a format designed for continuous professional use.

Screwdriver bits are interchangeable Phillips, Pozidriv, Torx, hex or slotted tips, with bit holders and right-angle attachments, for fitting to drivers and screwdrivers.

What it is for

Used for repetitive screwdriving into wood, metal and plasterboard, where torque and consistency matter.

How to use it

Match the bit to the screw recess by type and size, without confusing PH and PZ, and lock it in the bit holder or chuck. Drive with the tool in line and steady pressure, using the clutch so as not to strip the screw; in tight spaces, fit a right-angle attachment. With impact drivers, use only impact-rated bits, replacing them as soon as the tip is worn.
