Blind gasket

What it is

Draught excluder seals are self-adhesive strips in rubber, PVC or fabric, or door draught excluders, that seal gaps around doors and windows against draughts and noise.

What it is for

Used for thermal insulation of walls, roofs and pipework.

How to use it

Clean and degrease the rebate of the door or window and let it dry. Measure the gap to choose the correct thickness, peel back the backing gradually and apply the seal, pressing it in place without stretching it; fit the draught excluder along the bottom of the door. Finally, check that the door or window closes without forcing.
