What it is
FWP U3 (code 87AN03) is the Fakro thermally insulated skylight for roof access in natural wood, size 66 x 98 cm, with thermally insulated double glazing, to be installed on roof pitches from 15° to 55°. It has the same dimensions as the PWP U3 in PVC; the FSC certificate appears among the manufacturer's documents. It brings light and air into the attic and makes it possible to step out onto the roof.
A roof access window is an opening installed in the roof pitch that lights the loft space and provides access to the roof for inspection and maintenance.

How to use it
Install it in the opening between the rafters with the brackets and the flashing kit suited to the roof covering, ideally near the ridge and near an access ladder. Open it fully before stepping out and climb using a stable ladder. The roof window is not an anchor point: on the roof, work only when connected to a lifeline or certified anchors.
