Double-fold aluminium flood barrier Moderna Duo Rapid

What it is

Double-bend anodised aluminium flood barrier that shortens by 90 mm to pass through the frame of shutters, secondary doors or outer gates and rest against the inner frame. It leaves no frames or fixing holes and is positioned in about 10 seconds, compressing the seals with the lever handle. Width made to measure from 90 cm and heights from 32 to 92 cm.

Flood shields are aluminium or plastic barriers with gaskets that are fitted to doors, garages, shop windows, gates and windows to stop water getting in; inlet and drain stoppers seal air vents, floor traps and sanitary fixtures.

What it is for

Used for waterproofing roofs, terraces and below-ground structures and for assembly work.

How to use it

Measure the opening to be protected and choose a shield of the right width and height; the supports are fixed just once at the sides of the opening, and when a weather alert arrives the shield is slotted in within seconds and locked with the levers or hooks provided. After use, clean it and put it away; check the gaskets every season. For very wide openings, join several sections together with the joining posts.
