Reinforced foldable aluminium flood barrier MODERNAplus Rapid

What it is

Reinforced folding flood barrier, designed for greater heights up to 142 cm. It rests against the window or door frame and is extended with the lever handle, compressing the seals against the jambs, with no fixings to the wall. It is made of anodised aluminium with stainless steel fasteners and is made to measure in width for doors, garages, industrial gates and shop windows.

Flood shields are aluminium or plastic barriers with gaskets that are fitted to doors, garages, shop windows, gates and windows to stop water getting in; inlet and drain stoppers seal air vents, floor traps and sanitary fixtures.

What it is for

Used for water drainage and for waterproofing roofs, terraces and below-ground structures.

How to use it

Measure the opening to be protected and choose a shield of the right width and height; the supports are fixed just once at the sides of the opening, and when a weather alert arrives the shield is slotted in within seconds and locked with the levers or hooks provided. After use, clean it and put it away; check the gaskets every season. For very wide openings, join several sections together with the joining posts.
