Square extension HM

What it is

A socket extension bar is a shaft with a male square drive on one side and a female one on the other, which extends the ratchet to reach recessed or distant nuts.

What it is for

Used in mechanical maintenance of machinery and plant, during scheduled shutdowns or breakdowns and for tightening nuts and bolts where torque must be accurate and repeatable.

How to use it

Fit it between the ratchet and the socket, with drives of the same size, and push it in until it clicks. Keep the bar in line with the screw to stop it slipping. Do not extend the lever with tubes and with impact drivers, impact extension bars are required.
