Dust and gas masks are disposable filtering facepieces and half masks with replaceable filters that protect the respiratory tract from dust, fumes, gases and vapours.
What it is for
Used as personal protective equipment in hazardous work, for work in dusty environments and as personal protective equipment required by the risk assessment.
How to use it
Choose the facepiece class or filter type according to the substance present. Put on the mask with clean hands, shape the nose clip and carry out a fit check by covering the filters and breathing in. Discard disposable facepieces at the end of the shift or when breathing becomes difficult, change filters when they are saturated, and clean the half mask and store it in a closed container.
