What it is
Hand saw. Key specifications: thickness (mm) 0,9, material Steel.
A handsaw is a frameless hand saw with a wide blade for straight cuts in wooden boards, battens and panels.
What it is for
Used for woodworking in the joinery shop and for cutting solid wood, panels and battens, on the bench or on site.
How to use it
Mark the line, clamp the workpiece on a trestle or bench and start the cut with a few short strokes, guiding the blade with your thumb held above the teeth. Continue with long strokes without pressing, letting the teeth do the work, and support the offcut at the end of the cut. Protect the teeth with the blade guard and keep the blade free of resin.
