What it is
Basin trap. Key specifications: finish Chrome-plated.
The trap is the section of waste pipe, usually S-shaped or with a bottle chamber, that holds a little water and stops bad odours rising from the drain of a sink, washbasin or bidet.

Used in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems.
How to use it
Connect it to the sanitaryware outlet with the gasket and to the wall pipe, tightening the nuts by hand or with a light wrench. Check with water that there are no leaks. To clean it, unscrew the cap or bottle, remove the dirt and refit it with the gasket in place.
