What it is
Elastic adhesive sealant SiMP-Seal 55 NPT Sigill. Key specifications: type Multi-purpose one-component elastic adhesive and sealant, base SiMP (Silyl Modified Polymer), moisture-curing, colour white, black, grey.
Adhesives are one- and two-component glues, including epoxy resins, for permanently bonding materials such as wood, metal, plastic, fabric and concrete.
What it is for
Used for structural and assembly bonding and for sealing joints, gaps and service penetrations.
How to use it
Choose the adhesive according to the materials to be bonded and the service conditions, then clean and degrease the surfaces, abrading smooth ones. Apply the adhesive in the quantity specified, join the parts and hold them still or clamped until the adhesive sets. Mix two-component products in the stated ratio and use them within their pot life; wear gloves and work in a ventilated area.
