The straight die grinder is a tool with an elongated body, pneumatic or cordless, which carries a mounted wheel or burr on a shank at the tip; it is used for deburring, finishing and smoothing, even in tight spaces.
What it is for
Used for grinding parts and sharpening tools, for deburring metal after cutting and drilling and for grinding and cleaning up weld seams and burrs.
How to use it
Fit an accessory with a shank suited to the collet and tighten it firmly. Check that its maximum speed is higher than that of the tool. With compressed air, clean air at the specified pressure is required. Hold it firmly and wear goggles, gloves, ear defenders and a dust mask; disconnect it before changing the accessory.
