What it is

1/4" universal joint Milwaukee. Key specifications: finish Chrome-plated.

The universal joint is a coupling with square drives that allows the socket to be tilted relative to the ratchet to work where the screw is not in line.

What it is for

Used in mechanical maintenance of machinery and plant, during scheduled shutdowns or breakdowns, for vehicle maintenance, in the workshop and on the road and for tightening nuts and bolts where torque must be accurate and repeatable.

How to use it

Insert it between the ratchet and the socket and bend it to the angle required. It is best to work at small angles and with progressive force: very tight screws should be loosened first with the socket straight. With impact drivers, use only impact universal joints.
