What it is

The safety net is a mesh net of synthetic fibre, stretched over a frame or along an edge, that catches people or materials that fall, for example on shelving, openings and pits.
What it is for
Used for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system and for protecting edges and corners.
How to use it
Secure it with the specified fixings, taut and with no slack, on supports able to bear the loads stated by the manufacturer. Check the mesh, edges and stitching, and replace a damaged net or one that has arrested a load. Keep it clear of debris and inspect it periodically.
