What it is

The sanding block is a block, in rubber or other material, on which a sheet of abrasive paper is fixed or wrapped for hand sanding with a flat surface and even pressure.

What it is for

Used for sanding surfaces before painting and for sanding surfaces, as preparation or as a finish.

How to use it

Cut a sheet of the right size, wrap it around the block or fix it with the hook-and-loop backing and sand with even pressure. Change the sheet when it is worn.
