Imhoff biological tank Rototec

What it is

The Imhoff septic tank is a primary treatment for domestic and similar wastewater, intended for residential buildings and communal facilities, sized in accordance with UNI EN 12566-1 and complying with D.Lgs 152/2006, with design criteria from Delibera C.I.A. 04/02/1977. Made of PE, it combines sedimentation in the upper compartment and anaerobic digestion in the lower compartment; it includes a biogas vent, manhole covers and extensions for maintenance. Operation: 1. Oils and fats: sedimentation area for incoming solids 2. Digestion: area where digestion takes place and the treated wastewater flows out 3. Sludge: area where biological sludge forms for the purification of the wastewater. Applications: residential buildings, communities, schools, campsites, accommodation facilities.

Wastewater treatment systems are tanks, treatment units, pumping stations and components such as blowers, diffusers, control panels and covers for treating and pumping wastewater.

What it is for

Used for filtering system water and in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems.

How to use it

Bury the tanks on a level bedding layer, connect inlet and outlet at the correct falls and backfill while gradually filling them with water to balance the soil pressure. Have blowers, pumps and control panels connected by an electrician and keep them protected from water. Inspect the system through the covers, clean the diffusers and have the sludge emptied regularly.
