What it is
The DCC 12/24 SET by Wortex is a diesel transfer kit with a direct-current electric pump, powered by a vehicle battery. The DCC 12 SET runs at 12 V with a 14 A draw and 168 W, delivers up to 30 l/min with a maximum head of 6.5 m and has 3/4" ports. The kit includes cables with clamps for the battery terminals, antistatic fuel hose, an aluminium nozzle, a suction hose and a foot valve with filter.
Special liquid pumps are electric, manual, drill-driven or engine-driven pumps for transferring diesel, oils, chemicals or sludge, with the related fitting kits.
What it is for
Used for industrial maintenance of plant and machinery and for vehicle maintenance, in the workshop and on the road.
How to use it
Check that the pump is compatible with the liquid: for diesel, use pumps rated for fuels, and never transfer petrol or flammable solvents with standard pumps. Connect the suction and delivery hoses securely, immerse the suction end and start the pump, checking that it does not run dry. After use, empty and flush the circuit; wear gloves and safety glasses.
