Core drilling rig Seacore 600 Sea Technology

What it is

The Seacore 600 by Sea Technology is a wet diamond core drilling machine supplied complete with the PSTAND600 professional column and the SSR75 three-phase motor of 7500 W at 400 V. It drills holes up to 600 mm in diameter and, with the useful stroke of 1090 mm, up to 1090 mm deep. The column allows inclined holes up to 60° forwards and backwards; the motor has 15 mechanically selectable speeds and a 1"1/4 core bit connection. Column and motor weigh 37 and 19.5 kg.

How to use it

Locate rebar and services in the wall, then fix the drill stand with an anchor, vacuum pad or prop, or hold the machine firmly if it is used freehand. Fit the core bit, connect the water supply for wet cutting or the dust extractor for dry cutting, and start slowly until the bit has scored the hole. Feed with steady pressure without forcing, and work with an RCD, safety glasses, ear defenders and gloves.
