A roller shutter winder is the mechanism that takes up the shutter strap and keeps it tidy. It is fitted in the wall, flush or semi-flush, or surface-mounted, with a cover plate.

How to use it

Choose it according to the width of the strap and the distance between the fixing holes. Prepare the recess in the wall or partition, fix the mechanism with the screws and connect the strap, checking that it winds up properly. Fit the plate last, and replace it when it is broken or yellowed.
