What it is for
Used for repetitive screwdriving into wood, metal and plasterboard, where torque and consistency matter, for general-purpose fixing into masonry, concrete and timber and for installing building services and plant.
How to use it
Choose a socket of the exact size of the nut and with the same square drive as the impact wrench, or use an adapter. Push it on until the detent ball or retaining ring clicks home, adding an extension or universal joint only if needed to reach the nut. On impact tools, use only impact-rated sockets and accessories, as chrome hand sockets can shatter. Discard sockets with a worn-oval or cracked opening.
