Wood screw VLTE-AP Bossong

What it is

The wood screw VLTE-AP by Bossong is a professional solution for structural fixings on timber substrates, made of zinc-plated steel for corrosion resistance. Fitted with a hex head and a short self-drilling point, it allows quick insertion without pre-drilling, optimising installation time and precision. The wood-pitch thread (6.3 mm diameter) ensures a stable anchorage, ideal for residential building, joinery and renovation. Compatible with washers and gaskets to improve sealing and protection.

Wood screws are screws with a wood thread, also supplied with a plug or collar, for assembling timber and fixing frames and battens to walls.

What it is for

Used for woodworking in the joinery shop and for fixing into timber, from assembly work to carpentry.

How to use it

Choose a length that penetrates at least two-thirds into the second piece. In hardwoods or near edges, pre-drill to prevent the wood from splitting. Drive with a bit of the right size, keeping the screwdriver in line and setting the clutch so as not to strip the head.
