What it is
The DeWalt DT60837-QZ is an SDS Max XLR drill bit of 35 mm diameter with a working length of 250 mm and a total length of 380 mm. The Carbide Grit head is designed for working concrete, while the SDS Max shank ensures compatibility with professional rotary hammers. What it is for
Used for drilling reinforced concrete, in hammer or rotary hammer mode and for drilling solid and hollow masonry, clay brick and blocks.
How to use it
Clean and lightly grease the shank, insert it into the chuck until it locks and select hammer drilling. Drill with the hammer held in line with the hole, letting the machine's weight do the work without pushing, and withdraw the bit frequently to clear the dust. If you hit a reinforcing bar, stop and move the hole; do not cool a hot bit in water.
