What it is

The DeWalt DT8956-QZ drill bit is a percussion accessory with an SDS-Plus shank designed for drilling concrete. With a diameter of 6 mm and a working length of 100 mm, it allows deeper holes than the short versions, keeping the same carbide-grit head that ensures effective penetration and wear resistance. The reduced-vibration technology contributes to operator comfort, while the weight of about 0.487 kg ensures good balance in everyday use. Supplied in a multi-pack of 10 pieces.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
