What it is

The DeWalt DT8969-QZ drill bit is a percussion accessory with an SDS-Plus shank for drilling concrete. With a diameter of 10 mm, an overall length of 260 mm and a working length of 200 mm, it is designed for particularly deep and through holes; the four-flute geometry helps expel debris and the carbide-grit head ensures decisive penetration and long life. The reduced-vibration technology improves comfort, while the weight of about 0.985 kg maintains good control. It is supplied in a multi-pack of 10 pieces.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
