SDS-plus Extreme bit 5x310x250mm DeWalt DT9507-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT9507-QZ is an Extreme bit with an SDS-Plus shank, a diameter of 5 mm and a long working length of 250 mm, designed for deep, small-diameter holes in concrete. The carbide head and two-cutting-edge body ensure centred, clean holes even when great depths must be reached without deviation.

A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

What it is for

Used for drilling reinforced concrete, in hammer or rotary hammer mode and for drilling solid and hollow masonry, clay brick and blocks.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
